MotoGP 2017 season enters into final five races of the season and this weekend we will have the round 14 “Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón” what should be a cracking race at the famous MotorLand Aragon circuit in Spain. Going into the weekend all the talk is about the riders championship where Marc Marquez and Andrea DOVIZIOSO are neck and neck with 199 points each. We will have race highlights on Sunday after its all said and done.
The sequence of eight different grand prix winners from four different manufacturers is one of its kind in history of motoSport specially the premier class motogp. Marc Marquez will be hoping to maintain the gap at top of the drivers championship table where he leads by 43 points ahead of Valentino Rossi. Now with only 125 points to play for Marquez is odds on favourite to win his third MotoGP title.
However a win for Rossi and Marquez fails to finish the race will open up the championship. Having said that it is more likely that the chasing pack of Rossi and Lorenzo to drop points rather than Marquez. Top top that off, Rossi has never won in Aragon while Lorenzo need prayers to retain his title. Its all set up for another cracking week of motoGP.
AS far as the Aragon motorland circuit is concerned it has hosted MotoGP grand prix’s since 2010 and Jorge Lorenzo has won last two races in 2014 and 2015. While Ducati’s Casey Stoner won the first race back in 2010. 5.1 kilometer long circuit has 17 corners (10 left, 7 right) and the longest straight of 968 m will provide enough opportunities to overtake.

Defending champion Jorge Lorenzo finally found some sort of form after finishing second on the podium while Valentino Rossi coule only muster up a third place finish. With only four races to go, Rossi needs a mircale to overtake Marquez in points standings.
