Canelo vs Golovkin Official Weigh-In: The fight was agreed at the middleweight and there were issues regarding Canelo Alvarez weight but he put all that to rest on friday night when he hit the scale at 160 lbs. Golovkin on the other hand looked quite comfortable at this weight. There was a intense stare down between the two and Canelo Alvarez vowed to knockout Golovkin.

Unlike the previous fights of Golovkin in the US, he he will face a hostile reception with majority of fans representing Mexico. Canelo and Golovkin both have been doing pretty solid numbers as far as the recent PPV fights are concerned and HBO hope to match what Mayweather and McGregor generated a three weeks ago.

There have been alot of respect between the two since the fight is announced and the build up has been pretty classy with both fighters behaving themselves as it was expected. However come fight night it will be all different as both of these quality middleweights trying to knock each other out. Whatever the results on Saturday night we can expect them to fight again and possible a famous trilogy.
